Oban Baptist Church

Spiritual - Relational - Generational

Welcome to Oban Baptist Church

Spiritual             Relational             Generational

We are a friendly, family church of all ages.  At OBC, we are passionate about establishing community through the honouring of God's Word and by the power of His Spirit.

Sunday Morning Service - NOW 10:30am

We're OPEN and gathering for in-house worship - now operating at half-capacity of around 50 seats!  Our children's ministries are also regaining momentum too, so families of all ages are welcome!  If you want to join us, please do get in touch, so that we can prepare a place for you!  If you're unable to attend in person,  the service will also be broadcast live via Zoom with the link distributed each week in advance of the public gathering.

At present, we are still required to wear face masks throughout the public gathering, but both the national Baptist Union and Evangelical Alliance are in regular discussions with the Government on this issue.  Whilst some restrictions do limit our experience, and we pray that they will be lifted as soon as possible, they don't limit what God can do in the midst of His gathered people!  So, come and be amongst family as we celebrate the Risen Lord together!

Text for the Year: Matthew 22v36-39

"Teacher, which command in the law is the greatest?"  He (Jesus) said to him, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.  This is the greatest and most important command.  The second is like it: Love your neighbour as yourself."
